1. Hindus denied the right to cremate in Meghalaya

Report: Hindus of Tura town- Garo Hills, Meghalaya are under continuous pressure from local NGOs for abandoning present cremation ground which they are using for so many years. Hindus have valid land documents of ownership but still they are being harassed.

2. Lord Krishna Temple Desecrated by Planting Buffalo Head

Report: Anti-nationals, have yet again plotted one of their heinous tricks in instigating communal violence in Mangadu, by planting a buffalo’s head in Balagopala Krishna Temple in Molothungaal. The desecration has been done in a temple that was reinstated just last month.

Report: During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to Bangladesh , the local Hindu community stated they live in “constant fear of persecution” by the religious fundamentalists and wanted the Indian leader to take note of this and raise it with the Bangladeshi leadership. “The religious majority and the fundamental groups want the Hindus to leave this country, where we are born and brought up,” said Rana Dasgupta, general secretary of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council.
